Please read the Contest Rules in their entirety. You will be deemed to have agreed to these Rules if you provide the information requested and are in compliance with the Rules.

Subject to the Rules, everyone who provides the information indicated in section 8 qualifies as an entrant in 'Campbell's Chunky® Soup Most Valuable Hockey Moms' ("Contest").

No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. Only completion of a nomination, in compliance with the Rules, is required.

Any hockey-playing child in Canada, between the ages of 6-16 years old, may nominate a Mom to be eligible to win one of the following prizes:

Twenty (20) Finalist Prizes: The Prize Selection Committee will review all nominations submitted by March 1, 2002 and choose 20 finalists who will each receive a Team Canada Merchandise Prize Pack. The Team Canada prize package consists of four items : one (1) Official Mario Lemieux Team Canada T-Shirt - size large; one (1) Nike Team Sports - Team Canada Black Swooshflex Cap; one (1) Nike Team Sports - Team Canada Red Practice T-Shirt - size large; one (1) Nike Team Sports - Team Canada Mock Fleece Long Sleeved Shirt - size large. Approximate retail prize value $130 per prize

Four (4) Regional Winners: From the 20 finalists chosen, the Prize Selection Committee will choose four regional winners who will each receive two (2) autographed Mario Lemieux Team Canada Replica Jerseys (one for the Mom, one for the entrant) and one (1) special regional winners plaque. Approximate prize value $250 per regional winner. The four regions are divided as follows (if there are no finalists available to choose from one region, no prize will be awarded):

One (1) Grand Prize Winner: The Prize Selection Committee will then select the final grand prize winner from the four regional winners. The Grand Prize Winner will receive an all expenses paid trip for the winning Mom and the entrant to meet Mario Lemieux in Montreal on March 29, 2002. The prize package will include return economy airfare from the nearest major airport to Montreal, two (2) nights hotel accommodation (double occupancy) in Montreal, two (2) tickets to attend the Pittsburgh Penguins/Montreal Canadiens NHL Game taking place on Saturday, March 30, 2002, a special grand prize winner plaque and an autographed Mario Lemieux Team Canada replica jersey. Approximate prize value $2,500 (Based on Calgary to Montreal departure example. Please note, the value of the prize is dependant upon the geographic location of where the winner resides in Canada). In the event the Grand Prize Winner lives within 200 km of Montreal, limousine transportation will be provided in lieu of airfare. Winner is responsible for transportation to the airport and all other expenses.

A Prize Selection Committee consisting of members from Stellick Marketing Communications Inc. and Campbell Company of Canada will review each individual nomination submission and at the close of the contest on March 1, 2002, will choose 20 finalists - taking into consideration the age of each entrant, along with the following criteria weighted equally:

Sincerity of the nomination;

Level of the nominees dedication to their children's participation in hockey; and
-
Degree of effort put into writing the nomination.
From these 20 finalists the committee will first choose four regional winners, and from these regional winners, the committee will select the final grand prize winner all based on the same criteria. All winners will be contacted no later than March 15, 2002.

All entries shall become the sole property of Campbell Company of Canada Campbell Company of Canada reserves the right to use selected entries for marketing and publicity purposes (a parental consent form will be forwarded prior to publicizing any entries submitted by a minor) As relates to the overall Contest communication, only potential prize winners will be contacted. Potential prize winners may be contacted by any of mail, telephone or email, and informed of all reasonable arrangements necessary to qualify for, win and claim their prizes.

To enter the Contest please follow these steps:

If you are between the ages of 6-16 years old, and currently playing hockey in Canada, you are eligible to enter the contest by telling the Campbell Company of Canada in as many of your own words as you would like (submissions should have a maximum of 500 words), why the Mom you are nominating, deserves the title of "Campbell's Chunky® Soup Most Valuable Hockey Mom". Send nominations, complete with your name, telephone number, city, province, e-mail address and the name of your nominee along with your nomination via email to: ChunkysMVHmoms@gotoguys.net or by mail to Campbell's Chunky® Soup Most Valuable Hockey Moms, 250 The Esplanade, Suite 306, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 1J2 or by fax to (416) 603-9890.

The Contest commences at 09:01 a.m. ET on Monday, December 3, 2001 and closes with entries received by 09:01 a.m. ET on Friday, March 1, 2002.

All entries become the property of Campbell Company of Canada, which assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Campbell Company of Canada on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or down loading any material in the promotion. Campbell Company of Canada reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the e-mail portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Campbell Company of Canada corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Campbell Company of Canada reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the independent judging panel, which are final.

The Contest is available to any legal resident of Canada except employees (and those with whom they are domiciled) of Campbell Company of Canada, affiliated companies, participating sponsors or contractors. The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Any Contest entries not complying with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or regulations, as previously stated, will be considered to be null and void.

To be declared a winner of a Prize, winners (or their parent/legal guardian if a minor) will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form, confirming compliance with the contest rules and releasing Campbell Company of Canada and Stellick Marketing Communications Inc., its partners and affiliates and their respective advertising and promotional agencies from all liability. Winners are responsible to comply with the terms of the contest prize awarded and acceptance of the Prize as awarded releases Campbell Company of Canada, its partners and affiliates and their respective advertising and promotional agencies from any loss or damage sustained in relation to the Prize awarded. Grand Prize winner (if a minor) must be accompanied by their winning "Mom".

There will be no cash surrender value, no substitutions for, nor transfer of any Prize. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitution or transfer of Prizes is allowed. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or credit, neither in whole nor in part.

In awarding Prizes the decision of the Prize Selection Committee is final. Prize Winners must agree to their name, entry and/or photo being used without compensation for publicity purposes. In the event a Prize Winner is unable to redeem any or all of the prize components due to reasons beyond the control of Campbell Company of Canada and the prize suppliers, no compensation or substitutions will be provided.

In the event that Mario Lemieux is unable to attend the Grand Prize meeting on March 29, 2002 or does not play during the NHL game March 30, 2002 due to reasons beyond the control of Campbell Company of Canada, then Campbell Company of Canada reserves the right to either re-schedule the grand prize event or provide the winner with an alternate prize package of similar value.

If a potential winner (or their parent/legal guardian) fails to provide proof of identity, refuses to swear and return an affidavit of compliance and a waiver of liability, or is found to have violated the rules of the Contest or otherwise does not meet all Contest conditions, the selected entrant will be deemed to have forfeited the prize in question and Campbell Company of Canada shall be entitled to select a new name from the qualified entrants. A similar process will be repeated until a new winner is contacted to claim the prize.

The potential winners will be contacted within 14 business days following the final selection of winners by the Prize Selection Committee, either by telephone or by e-mail at the telephone number or e-mail address, as the case may be, provided by the entrant during the Contest entry process. Campbell Company of Canada is not responsible, whether as a result of human error or otherwise, for any failure to contact any potential winner, and if the potential winner cannot be reached within 7 business days that potential winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize in question and the Campbell Company of Canada shall be entitled to select a new winner from the qualified entrants.

By entering this Contest, you agree to be bound by all of the official Contest Rules and the decisions of Campbell Company of Canada, which are final on all matters relating to the Contest. Campbell Company of Canada, in their sole discretion, may disqualify any individual who is found to have tampered in any way with the operation of the Contest.

This contest will be governed by the laws of Canada and all entrants agree to the jurisdiction of the Ontario courts located in Toronto in the event of a dispute. For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
