On November 28, 1930, the wholesome, convenient goodness of the famous "red and white label" finally came to Canada. Campbell Soup Company entered the Canadian landscape when it was incorporated under the laws of Canada. Nine months later in New Toronto, just north of Lake Ontario, Campbell's Toronto Plant opened its doors and quite literally fired-up the kettles!

Some can still remember the early days, when the start of tomato soup production season marked the town with "help needed" notices written with chalk on the sidewalks of Lakeshore Boulevard. Campbell's came to rely on our community a great deal, and many generations of families since have contributed to Campbell's success.

In 1960, we opened a facility in Listowel, Ontario, where Campbell Canada's frozen food service business was established.

Over the years, Campbell's has been a generous supporter of great Canadian charitable organizations, particularly Food Banks Canada and our own Labels for Education program. We give back to our communities with a clear purpose to provide nourishment and support for the health and well being of Canadians.
